WELCOME TO SIBERKATZ1

WE are a small cattery breeding Siberian kittens. They are beautiful and sweet. They come in several colors, with or without white. These cats are known to be hypoallergenic so that some people that have allergies to cats may be able to have Siberians in their homes. A person with allergies can be tested at our home for $20. The $20 will be applied to the purchase price if you buy a kitten from us. We also know a person that raises kittens and has an allergy to them that takes "MSM", a dietary supplement, and it helps her. If someone has tried this and it has helped please let us know and we will pass it on.

We also breed Singapura kittens. They have short hair and are considered to be the smallest cat. They have small litters, 2 to 3 kittens at a time and there are not very many breeding lines available so you will not see very many of these cats around. Some say that their face looks like a mountain lion. They are a very personable cat and love to be around people. One of our Singapuras either sits on my lap when I am on the computer or tries to sit on the keyboard. This cat also meows when she wants to be picked up. She gives me a lick on my nose once in a while and she likes to jump on my shoulder.

We love all of our cats and kittens. We are retired so I spend 1 to 2 hours a day sitting on the floor letting them crawl all over me. I have been scratching their ears and under their neck and they love it. Some of the kittens even go to sleep when I do that. Maybe you can see that in a picture or two.

Before buying a cat/kitten you should make sure the cattery is free of health problems. Our cattery is free of FELV/FIV, FIP, HCM, PKD and ringworm.

Testimonial of a recent kitten adoption:  OCT 24, 2008

She has been an absolute joy; into everything but so friendly to everyone!!  She uses her cat box each and every time she needs it, and is eating and drinking often.  She seems to be very comfortable in the room we keep her in when we aren’t home to keep an eye on her.  She gives kisses on the nose, plays often with the white boa toy you gave us (again, thank you!), and has even started using the scratching post we bought for her.  (Jim found her sitting on the 4 inch diameter top of it, all 4 paws dug into the rope, and the catnip toy innocently held in her mouth.  How adorable is that!!)  Best of all she snuggles in to nap with anyone who happens to be available.  I think this is the first kitten we’ve ever had that has been so well socialized!  Thanks to all of you (including Katrina!!) for blessing us with such a gift.

And..my son says he's had no increased allergy issue.
